Twiggy - 3-Legged Declawed Russian Blue Adult Female Cat for Adoption in Alcoa, Tennessee For Sale

Twiggy is a gorgeous 4 year old female Russian Blue kitty with huge eyes who came into the Blount Shelter missing 1 hind leg and having her front feet declawed. She is definitely to be an inside only kitty since she would be greatly disadvantaged outside missing her front claws and a hind leg. She has been in a foster home for 8 months but is not adjusting to the other cats in the household, so she would probably do best as an only cat. She loves the teenage daughter in the household, and doesn't get upset with their 10 pound dog unless he is trying to play. She is very laid back, and loves to play with string or catnip toys. She loves to lay on a cat tree and look outside but must be able to jump on and off. She likes laying on tile floor or beside you. Sometimes she's a lap kitty but because of missing leg it worries her to be off balance so she's happier beside you. Loves to have ears and chin rubbed. It might take a couple of months for her to completely get comfortable and trusting, so her new adopter must be prepared to be patient. They will be rewarded with the behavior described here! Twiggy is spayed, is up to date on her shots, tested negative for FeLV/FIV and is litter box trained.
